Finishing Top; Finishing Great
"I press toward the mark for the prize of
the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"
(Philippians 3:14)
The roster of champions! that is how the USATODAY described the last 8 (quarter-finalists), in the on-going world soccer fiesta in Germany. Out of the 17 championships so far, 15 had been won, between 6 out of this 8 teams. The lesson I can draw from this piece of information is: The heights of your attainment in life is a function of the singleness of your purpose and depth of your preparation.
Finishing top in life is more of a product of light and skill than of luck. It is possible to dazzle on-lookers with a consistent stream of successful attainments in life, if you strike a "partnership" with the Most High God, particularly during the period obscured retreats, like we are currently going through. That is the period when God trains you (Deuteronomy 32:10-13), and you cut a covenant with Him, to seal your impending victories.
You can reinforce this in prayers with a vow that, if He helps and sees you through, to the topmost of your heart-desires in Him, you will do so and so, to honor Him, etc. "...but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before". (Philippians 3:13) Every time you are distracted, you would be dismembered from the roster of life's champions.
There is no riches that does not have a store-house, a deposit, a bank or a treasure base. Our venture into waiting on Him these 3 days, is a statement of recognition of this eternal law of true riches. We are attempting to build a deposit base of spiritual treasure, from where we would have an inexhaustible resource, to win outstandingly during the 2nd half of 2006. Your true riches in life is not quantified in monetary terms, but how much of God you carry!

- Receive now the power to claim back any territory of your life, that may have been captured in the 1st half of 2006, in Jesus Great name.
- Every Delilah assigned to shave off your glory at the height of your success in the 2nd half of 2006: Be ROASTED by Fire, In the mighty name of Jesus.
- Let the power to remain focussed on God's kingdom till the very end envelope your life now, in Jesus name
- Any power that wants to exclude you from the roster of champions this year 2006: Whither by fire! in Jesus mighty name.
- Every power that is planning to steal the prize of your victory at the end of 2006. Be terminated from the land of the living; in Jesus name.
- The miracle that would make you a stellar success in this 2006, appear! in Jesus Name. Amen.
