Spritual Codes For Power
"And of the children of Issachar, which were men that
had understanding of the times, to know what Israel
ought to do,...and all their brethren were at their commandment"
(1 Chronicles 12:32)

The eagle is not an extra-powerful bird, but it is an extra-sensitive bird. It became the king of all birds in flight, not by flapping its wing. It rejoices at the signal of a storm, it rides on the wings of storms. The storms that sent all other birds into panic and running for cover, is the same one, that the eagle basks and glides over with festive joy.

What are the secret codes of the eagle’s prowess? What are the power codes employed by the eagle to emerge the king of birds? As the 1^st half of this year 2006, runs to a close this week, we shall be students in the school of the eagle to learn its secret of excellence.

This new week is unique, in that, within it, this year splits into two equal parts. It contains the end of the 1^st half and the beginning of the 2^nd half, 2006. There is no better time to take stock of the year than now. We do this by the revelation key given to us from the Holy Bible.

Refuel By Waiting
Waiting on the Lord in prayers and fasting is a critical factor in spiritual renewal, particularly when you have been weary and worn-out by activities of the last period. Also if you have been ‘battered’ by life’s vicious blows, you need to refuel to comeback into life’s boxing ring. The eagle is a ‘waiter-bird’ (Isaiah 40:31); it is a patient bird of positioning; a bird of amazing speed (Deut.28:49; Job 9:26); a bird of escape and deliverance (Exodus 19:4); a bird of maternal compassion (Deut. 32:11)...

If you have been very successful in life’s endeavors in the 1^st half, now is the time to spiritually strategize for momentum to sustain the success streaks. If also you have been ‘mauled’ by life’s wicked claws, its time for succor and nurture by the wine of the Holy Ghost, which is ONLY available and accessible to ‘spiritual waiters’.

Set apart the last three days of this month or the 1^st three days of next month for this spiritual exercise. I pray to give you some prayer nuggets that would guide you through this exercise by tomorrow.

Take these two prayer points with me as we prepare for the journey:

• O Lord, teach me to wait on you for a spectacular progress in the 2^nd half, 2006 in Jesus name.

• The grace of victorious waiting, compass me without fail throughout this prayer and fasting in the next few days in the name of Jesus.
